*How can I get a list of active mines in Arizona?
A directory of active mines is available through the Arizona Department of Mines and Mineral Resources for $20 (includes shipping and handling). The directory lists operating company, address, website, phone, key personnel, number of employees, mine name, location, and a description of the operation. Major projects under development are listed. Includes a 1:1,000,000 scale color map showing the locations of hard rock and aggregate mines. A summary of 2006 mineral production and significant events is also provided.
*I have an old stock certificate. How do I find out if it is worth anything?
If the company was incorporated in Arizona, the Corporations Division of the Arizona Corporation Commission should be able to provide you with the current status of the company, its last known address, and the name and address of its statutory agent. Corporate Status at (602) 542-3026 has information on corporations currently chartered in Arizona as well as those whose charters were terminated within the last 10 years. Historical Records at (602) 542-2187 has information on corporations whose charters terminated more that 10 years ago. Both sections can be reached toll-free in Arizona at (800) 345-5819.

If that fails you can try the following:
